◆ Case Studies

The thinking behind the work.

These are concept case studies — projects I've built to show how I approach web design for local service businesses. As live client projects launch, their case studies will be added here with real outcomes attached.

Landscaping · Concept Project

Reworking a landscaping site so the quote button is the obvious next step.

Overview

A concept project exploring how a typical local landscaping business could turn a generic, template-style website into one focused on a single goal: getting a quote request.

Problem

Most landscaping sites in this category look the same — stock hero image, vague service list, contact form buried at the bottom. Visitors leave without ever being clearly invited to take action.

Approach

Rebuilt the structure around the actual customer journey: clear above-the-fold value proposition, service-area-aware copy, photo-led credibility, and a quote form that's never more than one scroll away. Every page leads back to the same primary action.

Key design decisions

  • Mobile-first layout (most local searches start on a phone)
  • Service pages written around the jobs customers actually search for
  • One primary CTA per page — no competing actions
  • Local SEO structure ready for Google Business Profile
  • Fast load on real phone connections

Outcomes: This is a concept project — no live client metrics are attached. Real performance results will be published with live client case studies as they launch.

Tractor Services · Concept Project

Designing a brand-new tractor services site that earns trust from the first scroll.

Overview

A concept project imagining what a credible online presence looks like for a small tractor services operator that's relied on word-of-mouth and is finally putting up its first real website.

Problem

Without a site, customers Googling tractor work in the service area never find them. The few competitors who do appear online look outdated — there's a real opportunity to show up professional from day one.

Approach

Built around fast trust: a confident hero, before/after photo gallery, clear service categories, and a tap-to-call CTA that follows the user down the page. The structure is designed so a homeowner can decide and call in under a minute.

Key design decisions

  • Tap-to-call CTA pinned for mobile
  • Service-area landing pages for nearby towns
  • Photo-led credibility (real equipment, real work)
  • Schema markup for local business + services
  • Lightweight build — no slow page transitions

Outcomes: This is a concept project — no live client metrics are attached. Real performance results will be published with live client case studies as they launch.
